Folders File Manager (“The App”)
The App does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information, or information that could be used to identify you indirectly, nor does it use any third party services that could perform any such tasks.
If the App has been provided to you by a third party service, such service is subject to its own Privacy Policy.
Folders Pro (“The App”)
The version of the App sold directly by us (rather than through an app store) uses a small number of third party services described below. Aside from the services and license management described below, the App behaves as described above and does not otherwise collect, store, or transmit any personal information.
The App uses Sentry to report crashes and errors so we can diagnose and fix problems. We configure Sentry not to collect personal information, so these reports contain technical diagnostic data with no personal information intentionally collected. The App uses Sparkle to check for and install updates. When checking for updates, the App contacts our server to retrieve the latest version information; this request may include basic technical information such as the app version. Purchases of the App are handled by Paddle, which acts as the merchant of record and processes your payment, tax, and order information; your card details are handled by Paddle and never reach us. Paddle shares a limited subset of your order information with us — including your email address, name, and country — which we use to deliver your license key, provide customer support, issue receipts, and manage and, where necessary, deactivate licenses. We retain this information only for as long as necessary for these purposes. Paddle's own processing of your information is subject to Paddle's Privacy Policy, which you may review at https://www.paddle.com/legal/privacy.
To manage licenses, the App communicates with our own license service, hosted on Cloudflare. When you activate, validate, or deactivate a license, the App sends your license key, the app version, and a unique device identifier that does not reveal your device's hardware address. Our license service stores this information, together with the email address and order reference we receive from Paddle, in order to deliver license keys, enforce the per-device seat limit, provide support, and detect or prevent misuse such as publicly shared license keys. This data is hosted on our behalf by Cloudflare, whose privacy policy you may review at https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/. We retain it for the lifetime of the license and for as long as necessary for these purposes.

This website, including the analytics tool mentioned forth herein, does not track, collect, store, or transmit any personal information, or information that could be used to identify you directly or indirectly or in relation to the websites you previously visited, with the exception of the feedback forms described below.
This website contains feedback forms that enable you to voluntarily provide information, including your personal details, that we may collect, process, parse, store, retain and use to respond to your feedback. The provided information will not be disclosed or transmitted to any third party.
This website uses Clicky to log and analyze the traffic. You may review Clicky's privacy policy at http://clicky.com/terms/privacy.
To show country-specific information on our pricing page, this website determines your approximate country from your IP address using our own license service, hosted on Cloudflare. Your IP address is used only to derive the country and is not stored for this purpose.

Legal Basis, Data Transfers, and Retention
Where we or our providers process your personal information, we do so to provide and maintain the App and Site (for example, to complete a purchase or check for updates) and in our legitimate interest to diagnose and fix problems. Some of these providers operate outside your country, including in the United States, and rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses. We retain personal information only for as long as necessary for the purposes described above.
Your Rights and Choices
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, object to or restrict its processing, request a copy of it, or withdraw any consent you have given. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
